Thank you to my alma mater, Beau Chene High School, for the opportunity to speak to the current students during their Black History Month program.
I appreciated sharing my journey not because it was perfect, but actually because it was quite the opposite. It is my sincerest hope that the career/life advice I shared with them was enough and my toughest life lessons are avoidable for them.
